Bo Kaap

Saturday was PhotoShop guru Scott Kelby's international Photo Walk Day and Cape Town was just one of more than a hundred cities which participated.

The group's decision was to walk the Bo Kaap, the city's old Malay quarter, which is full of tiny colourful houses - many being rapidly gentrified - and home to a small but vibrant community.

That said, in some places, it is also one of the most run-down areas of Cape Town.
