Merlin Blanket Mark II
Have embarked on a remake of my Merlin, aka Hexagon blanket. I loved making the first one and loved the finished thing, but wished I'd thought more carefully about the colours, and bought more expensive yarn. The blanket is already bobbling and wearing in places.
I've invested in some Rowan Cotton in really bright colours, and am already loving watching the colours come together.
Had a meeting at my least favourite organisation today. There are so many things wrong with they way they do things that if I had the heart to begin cataloging them - which thankfully I do not - it would take me about a year. If I really focussed on it, I'd start crying and probably not stop until July 2015 when it will be out of our lives forever.
Sadly it causes conflict way and beyond what you would imagine to be it's sphere of influence because so many things that happen upset me so much, but it's very hard for the many people who are lucky enough not to have seen the side of it that I have, to truly understand how it makes me feel.
Oh well, just have to get on with it.
On the positive side.......well, my Merlin II will have to be that for today. It's going to be so pretty!
