Winter's last gasp?

There's snow on them there hills in the distance (Bleaklow & Kinder, for those inclined to wonder). Not like yesterday, when I walked near here mostly in sunshine with the occasional shower. There's a bit of slush on the road too. But my money's on this being the last snow we'll see around these parts until next winter.

Incidentally, those posts you see on either side of the road are pretty tall, yeah? They need to be, because they are sometimes the only evidence that there is even a road here at all when it really snows on Holme Moss.
