Soaring
It's Britain's most common bird of prey. But I will never tire of watching a Buzzard soaring. This - one of a pair - was over the Longdendale Valley as dusk closed in at the end of an 8 mile walk. I love those contemplative moments at the end of a day in the hills, as the light fades. Which is why I chose this picture over all the spectacular landscapes - and the remains of a crashed Lancaster bomber - I also captured today.
