(we stopped back at a plant nursery we'd been to before, to look at some bushes we were considering for the yard, but decided they weren't what we're looking for.)
this is just a small section of a very large, very interesting place. I could have spent much longer, but we had other things to do.
earlier in the morning the weather was warm and sunny, as the whole week had been. but the front they'd been talking about came through with a pretty strong rainstorm, and the temperatures dropped for the rest of the day, even though the sun was back by late afternoon.
