stopped at the beach after work- perfect weather, and it's staying light a little later every day (sunset at about 6:30PM today here).
Today also starts the beginning of turtle nesting season, so they stop grooming the beach with machines until the end of October. And the street lights are turned off on the road along the beach to help the hatchlings see the moon on the water and know which way to crawl.
I was hoping to spot some more sandpipers, but the choices were limited to gulls, an osprey, and some beach scenery...
