Baby's First Ice Cream Cone...

As you can see, she absolutely hated the experience.

Apart from all the obvious signs of Spring being imminent, I know that Spring is right on our doorstep because we've started doing things of note once again - catching up with people, going for walks, having adventures. Poking our head out of the sand after a long and dreary winter.

Saturday - we had the Watsons round for some big time fun and big tummy food. I took the whole of the morning to cook up some Ottolenghi treats (marinated buffalo mozarella, hummus, winter salad with pecorino, chicken with hazlenuts, saffron, honey & lemon and a tasty jewelled cous-cous) and we all sat about the table chatting and catching up.
