MINI heaven today when we were en route to the swimming at the Olympic Park .
We had to wait for friends to arrive Caz and Jules and they are nearly always late so with half an hour to spare where else would you go when you are faced with a giant Mini above your head ...
They had the new John Cooper Works ( to die for !!!!! ) but clearly it would not take a dog and 2 pesky kids so apparently not PRACTICAL for ME .....
When did a girl ever need practical car or practical shoes !!!!
There were all sorts of gorgeous mini things in there even a mini climbing wall made out of lots of mini parts looked fab not sure it would take anymore than a toddler climbing it though but was nice piece of wall art.
Then off to the Aquatic Centre with 4 excited kids and a few excited adults.
Got quite close to the front again 3rd row so not sure if we will be on Telly again !!! ( Ah such a bore !!)
Saw Adrian Moorhouse which is not too exciting as I have met him years ago when the company I worked for did some work with Lane 4. But I did finally work out why he called his company Lane 4 as it is the fast lane and the best swimmer gets put in it for the race.
Then more exciting was the sighting of the cutely handsome Rower , turned runner , then cyclist and all round fit man James Cracknell !! It was only on our way out so I did get a photo but only from a distance so not fab but I am selfish that way and keeping it to myself ...
