Corporate Colour, Everywhere.....
A strange day in the concrete jungle today - wondered to Docklands to see if I could not find a new 'bit of something' to blip. This is one of the many corporate buildings in the area - a little more colourful than most corporate destinations.
Docklands is renowned as a wind tunnel and was previously industrial. The planners have turned it into a very 'modern art' area (my favourite sculpture is a square cow upside down in a tree - not sure what it's meant to symbolise but I like it). If you took a picture from the air, I'm sure it would look like a playground with all of its quirky buildings and art.
Its one of those special things you get to see in a place as young as Melbourne - New history so to speak. Docklands is still finding its soul, but you can see that it is growing - developing as its own space in our city.
