Many years ago before the M50 was dug through here, I (and many others) watch a car drive off the edge of this road. Drop was a lot smaller then, driver just pressed on wrong pedal! We all walked / ran over to the edge, driver had stepped out and was waving back up at us, no harm done. Be a bit of drop now though!
