Happy Accidents

The year's 1st sunset, as seen from a lovely beach just outside Acapulco, in a place called Pie De la Cuesta.

Taken just in front of a lovely, little boutique-hotel, which we happened on completely by chance, when we were driving around looking to get a spot on the beach to spend the day lolling under the glorious January sun.

Not being one for sunbathing, I just wandered about taking photos. The hotel being as cool as it was, I was taking quite a number of photos of it, when the director of the hotel stopped me and expressed an interest in seeing my photos. Makes a change from being told to stop!!

I was just going to get his e-mail address to send them to him, when he said that, if I did, we could stay for a couple of nights in the hotel. Result!!! I did warn him to wait until he saw them 1st before being so kind, but he was insistent.

So now, after he received them and was very pleased w/them, we have a free weekend away to use, more or less, when we want to.

This is my kind of hobby.
