Pork pie.

Just a mini one as I was starving earlier today.

I had a bit of an ache with a tooth yesterday but thought I'd been clamping my teeth together overnight. I have had an abscess for a while but it's been dormant most of the time as long as I'm careful.

Today it was swollen and painful. I couldn't brush my teeth anywhere around that tooth. The thing is the tooth got filed down when the filling crumbled and there was very little actual tooth left. As I didn't want to have anything removed because I've only ever had teeth out with a general anaesthetic, my dentist filed down what was on top and left the root.

Unfortunately it's been trapping food and been a real nightmare to clear. I've been swilling mouthwash around which has helped dislodge it some days.

Today my friend told me that he was sent home from hospital with far too much antibiotic liquid so he's given me a bottle to take. I've had it before so I know I'm ok to have this and after the first two spoonfuls I began to notice a difference in the swelling.

Hopefully it will settle itself down again and I won't have to make an appointment just yet.
