Magnolia bud

I was quite excited to realise, last autumn, that there wasa magnolia tree in our new garden. Now it is budding and, frost allowing, should be covered in blooms.

I'm off on a photo course in a fortnight, so I thought I should get out the tripod and the macro lens. I'm clumsy with it, and need more practice. When reviewing my shots, most were not worth bothering with. Must do better......
