I'm not entirely sure that our dictionary got the translation right. This shop sells brooms, brushes, mops and other domestic articles, if it wasn't all plastic I'd call it a hardware store. This is Charlie, he's grown somewhat since I first saw him as a puppy (no blip of that - so don't ask, but he was damn cute). I'm not entirely sure what the bikes have to do with applied art either.


And now for the subliminal trivia - Spar = Save in Danish.

...and you just thought it was an odd name for a corner shop. (You'll know what I mean if you live in the UK)
