Making the most of it

East Beach, Dunbar, 10AM. I know the time because my train was delayed half an hour so I dived down the beach for some snaps in the morning light.

Off to Edinburgh and home in time for the children.

Not a lot to report, all's well!

On the photo: from RAW for a change, because the polarising filter's knackered and smudged the centre. I more-or-less compensated for it, but there's a new one coming from Amazon after this annoyance. It's a Hoya PRO1 and I've ordered a Hama at about £20 to see if that has the same problem. Basically, after a year, the centre of the filter is fogged through the 2 layers rubbing together. Seems a bit crap, but that might be just how it is with these filters. We'll see.
