Commuting at 5 20 am

Possibly one of my earliest blips, taken on my ride home from work at 520 am.

There's something cathartic about the cycle home, it sort of clears your head, it's only 8 miles but a nice, there are two stretches of unlit country roads for which the twin headlights come in handy. I saw a badger and a fox this morning and a man walking along the darkest stretch, he was wearing dark clothes and walking the wrong way on the road, I nearly shit myself as I almost hit him.
Back at home son no 1 is just getting up for a day pounding the streets, I have a glass of wine ( for medicinal purposes) looking forward to a hot shower and five hours kip.

The quality of the picture isn't great but it captures the scene well.
