Letting your hair hang down ...
I guess it is too early in the week for that, but sometimes we have to be reminded that there is a place and a time for everything ... this weekend, perhaps!?
This indigenous tree (??) was blipped at the grounds of the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, situated on the Saasveld Road, about 7 kms outside of George.
It is situated at the edge of an indigenous forest, and has the most awesome views toward the mountains and the forests.
Johann works for some of his day at the campus, and each lunch time he will don the appropriate garb and take a half an hour walk into the forest - must be beautiful and relaxing.
There is still much wildlife to be seen, monkeys, buck and there is also mountain leopard - but they will not be seen by you, I think they do the observing ...
This tree is obviously in the mood for the coming Spring season which is upon us, and in anticipation has let it's hair hang down ...
