Traditional Cradle Board Bow

We enjoyed a very fine day today.

The Warm Springs Clinic offers a two day traditional cradle board building class every month.

Expecting parents, new parents, grandparents are all welcome to join.

A knowledgeable Warm Springs Elder teaches and demonstrates the fine points of construction in making the cradle board.

We spent six hours working quite diligently on our doll sized cradle board, along with schmoozing with the other folks in the class.

The two days will be necessary for us to complete our little cradle board. We will finish it tomorrow.

Our granddaughter will receive it as a gift when she comes to visit in June.
