Brig o'Doon
Today was dedicated to Burns: we've checked out The Batchelors' Club in Tarbolton. Well, from outside as it was shut, so had a walk in the nearby cemetry than headed to Alloway to the Burns Museum. Truly impressive. I am usually a bit weary of poet museums as they tend to contain tons of paper, what one could read much comfortable at home and the poet's chair or worse: a chair the poet could have used, owever this one is very well done. There were two school groups visiting and even they were enjoying themselves a lot.
A short walk away from the museum is Brig o'Doon. You can't see the witches as they were busy taking photos. ;-)
We tried to have a walk on the beach in Ayr to work off the cake but the wind was so strong we had to give up and have a coffee instead.
