wow, what a day!

john and i attended a school mission volunteer training event held in lusaka today which meant leaving ndola at 4.30 this morning. long day!

it was amazing though, what a great group of new volunteers....soon to become school mission family! our family just keeps on expanding.

the real joy for me today was to see some of the guys (pictured) who attended our first volunteer training in november. now, alongside our school mission staff, they are helping to train the next group. amazing! i was there for agness' session and she taught with such confidence, authority and humour that it made my little heart swell with joy and pride (she's pictured above, centre).

shame we can't be there for the rest of the week but we're busy getting on with the exciting work in ndola.
