The sun was shining this morning and despite being late for a change leaving to visit our friends I managed to snap some of the unknown shrubs in our garden. There are tiny buds starting to appear and I have that giddy sense that proper Spring is just around the corner - hooray!!!!
We had a nice time with our friends today - tea, chats, Sunday lunch (in a pub where the barmaid was rude - aghast that we wanted two stacks of onion rings, and then threw a pint of coke over me without a word of apology. Quality establishment!!!) a nice trip to the park, then home for more tea and chats.
And the little Misses fell asleep in the car on the way home and were in bed by 6pm. Yay!!!!
