Toe woe

Sorry about the unattractiveness of the photo but this has been the main feature of my day. Woke up still in pain after my fall down the stairs yesterday so decided I ought to get the toe looked at. Have a few bumps and bruises elsewhere but it's the toe that's worst.

Went to local hospital's minor injuries uni. They said that it would be wisest to go to A&E. Driving that far wasn't an option so luckilymy proxy parents stepped in again and gave me a lift.

Not too long a wait thank goodness - about an hour and a quarter. Doctor poked and prodded and decided that an x-ray wasn't necessary as there wasn't any dislocation. But it is probably broken. So strapped up, painkillers and rest as much as possible. And I WAS going to do some gardening tomorrow - honest!!!
