ACE times.

Chilled morning after a bad night with L. Still guessing if it's teeth/ears/cold/randomness causing the problem. Still, she was chirpy enough at 6:30 this morning, and J kindly took her downstairs. We've been trialling alternate lay-ins for a few weeks now as we realised neither of us had had any proper sleep beyond 7am for years. After a few teething problems with volume issues, it seems to be working quite well. Anyway, enough about sleep....

Trip to the post office this morning to send Erin's dress onto her, and finally managed to get some perfect size boxes for my tea cup gifts.

This afternoon grandad had the big girls so J and I could go to London's Ace cafe. They were apparently having a 1950's American car cruise-in so we were going to try and get a couple of contacts to sort something swish for our wedding car. The cafe itself was amazing. Really unusual and I sensed I was in a place where lots of exciting things had happened before. Actually got told off for taking too many pics inside. Oops!

As for the cars, there was only a handful there so no luck really. L enjoyed the chips and a biker man she thought was grandad?!

I like this pic cos a random man with a kid on his shoulders offered to take it for us, after he saw us struggling to do one ourselves. Was a bit scary watching him balance a kid and a camera at such and odd angle.

Girls were a dream for Grandad. Time for a quick hot cross bun before bed and a nice quiet evening at home :)
