Eight for Eight

Perhaps not the 'right' reason, but one of the main reasons I so badly want to continue photography is that I hope one day it could be my ticket into seeing and capturing amazing world relevant events. It seems that it was not just a day of eights, but rather a year of eights. Big congrats to him and his family, and this country for breaking down the brick walls and establishing success that will inspire countless others.

He received his medal just about 11:50 today and it was a perfect end to the day. Tomorrow I'm off to an 18th birthday party at another pool.

Quick tip, I don't an an LCD TV and the only way for me to get a photo where half of it was not dark, was to go to a slow shutter speed. I was very surprised at how sharp it came out.
