My Aim is True

Peek a boo

Yes, I know, same place as yesterday, but it is very photogentic.

A great party tonight with all the students - there'll be sore heads tomorrow!

As promised in my comments the day before yesterday, this is my take on brand loyalty .

I heard about this on the radio. A university asked for volunteers amongst it's students to complete a questionnaire. They were told that there would be a small gift to all those taking part. Once they'd all finished, half the participants were given a mug. The mug had the university logo on it and the recipients were told that it was unique and could not be bought anywhere. The other half were told that as the mug was worth about 6 quid, and as there had been more people than expected they would be given 6 quid. Then for 20 minutes they were given some chat about the survey that they had just completed. After 20 mins someone appeard who said that the organisers had mis-judged numbers and there was in fact enough mugs and enough money to go around and that anyone who wished to swap the cash for the mug or vice-versa could do so..... But no one swapped. So this proves that you need only have something in your possession for 20 minutes to build up a loyalty. So when the mobile phone shop tells you you can try out the phone for two weeks, and bring it back if you're not satisfied they know that they'll not be seeing you again. I always advise people to buy the same MP3 that I have because I think it's the best...however I have never had another make or model, so I don't actually know how it compares with any others.
