Morning surprise

More delightful sun today but not this morning when we were out walking.

It was grey and drizzly and I had little hope for a decent blip.

We did a very familiar walk but the other way around. C was practising her
puddle reflection photography and I had taken several shots of the very green moss on the walls and rocks amongst the trees.

The ladies we walk with are always telling me about the deer they see on the mornings when I am not with them. I have seen their white rumps disappearing at a pace on one or two occasions but today there were two, quite visible and not running away.

My lens was a bit misted from the damp and I didn't have much expectation of this shot but was delighted they could actually be seen through the woods at Deep cliff.

Another performance for me tonight - 55 Brownies last night!!! Friday audiences are always a bit reserved or 'smiley' rather than voluble. We'll see.
