Jags

Mum came to collect me from nursery today. She took me to the surgery. The nice lady who used to help run baby group recognised me straight away, even though she hasn't seen me since I was a little baby. She said I looked just the same. She and another lady weighed and measured me - I weigh 17.4kg and am 103cm tall. That puts me in the 75th centile for girls of my age. I am 9cm taller than my best friend Louisa!

What Mum didn't tell me was that the real reason we were there was to get my booster jags. I sat on Mum's knee and the two nurses gave me one in each arm. By the time I realised what was happening, it was all over. Then they gave me two stickers - one with a lion on it for being brave, and one with a star for being a Star Patient. Mum had already told me that I could have a Peppa Pig chocolate lollipop, so between that and my stickers I was quite happy. Easy-peasy (probably worse for Mum!).
