J.J. Minor Memorial Tournament

Today was Day 2 of the J.J. Minor Memorial Tournament and after the Thunderbirds experiencing 2 losses yesterday, they were coming into today with the determination to score a win....and that's exactly what they did.

Loren, as a defender, never really gets the opportunity to score. Today was that exception. He took control of the ball, pushed forward through multiple players and scored! Right afterwards, he fell back and SAVED two goals as defender! I was so excited for him as was the team, you can see it in these pics here on Blipfoto. The pic on the left is a bit of a smile after his goal. Although we didn't make it to the final game, today holds a great memories for Loren.
