Surgery day today for Mr. C... He was amazing.

Day began around 4 a.m. to get us to the hospital by 7. Ms B stayed at Gma/Gpa's house last night and Baby S came to the hospital with us.

Mr C knew ahead of time he was headed to the hospital to "take a nap" while the doctor fixed something for him. He woke up extremely well from his surgery and had no ill effects from the anesthetic.

A stressful day for M and I...the last few days actually. Though a common surgery, it was no easier to hand him off to the doctors. Partly why I chose this photo...this was right before he went back (and after he had a bit of silly juice). We all had lots of laughs over the rubber glove balloon...brilliant by the way. We didn't need ANY of the toys we took :)

Now to hope for a quick recovery. Keeping him home from school through next week or longer, and keeping his activity at a minimum could be quite challenging.

So glad today is over.

And for those of you who read yesterday's blip, Harley's eye looks about the same, but it seems her pain is much better. She was a bit more bouncy this afternoon.
