The journey continues...

BBQing in the rain in Serbia!

I had a great sleep last night even after sleeping all day. But I still woke up feeling like I could sleep a few hours more. So I had a rather slow start to the day, involving a lot of lying in bed not doing too much. Although I feel bad for not getting out of the flat and exploring, I'm going to blame it on the altitude for now.

Helena and I got picked up at 4 to head to the old Serbian embassy in Zona Sur, very random! It is such a cool and massive house and since it is no longer used and has some connection to Ivan, a guy from Bolivian Express', family we were able to have a BBQ and a few drinks there. It was a nice day apart from me having a funny stomach. However, I still managed a few rum and cokes to wash down the choripan and meat!

Later we all headed to a masquerade party, slightly underdressed and without mask, since it wasn't really part of the days plans. The music was great and there was an open bar and a great crowd so it should have been a good night but I ended up cutting the night short as my tummy was not feeling good at all. It probably wasn't the best idea to stay up until 4am with the others once they got home or eat macaroni and cheese...
