Playing with Matches

A little experiment, I originally set out to try to get some interesting flames from matches igniting but found that my shutter speed was far to low and just got blurs. However this gem appeared. I really like the contrasting colours and I never knew matches gave off that purple before! Also the match stick is interesting with the different stages of burning down the match.
