I see photography as an elegant combination of art and science. You attempt to capture a photo with a infinite number of possibilities (that's right from infinitely small changes in shot angle, colour, lighting, exposure time ect.) doing so by controlling all of these factors to the best of your ability (science) while your end objective is an art form. You try to create a masterpiece, something hard to explain or describe but something that just feels right. It captures mood, emotion even sound through controlling and using this sea of infinite possibility to your advantage.

I believe you only need to open your eye's to find something amazing, the power of the mind will do the rest. I hope that this site will help me to further open my mind, since I am a scientist at heart I do need to remind myself to be artistic sometimes!
