Hazel catkins

I found these down by the river where I went to try to clear my head this morning after a loud row with one of the teens... it didn't work and I've been out of sorts ( that's a weird expression) all day. And one of my students hasn't shown up. It has been chilly and mostly grey -that didn't help either.


The teen is now home and fed and completely unaware of the effect his words had on me this morning...

Ah well. I'd better go and put the geese and ducks away before it gets quite dark.
