Lady duck

We drove over to Wimbledon to see John, our eldest son who made us pancakes for lunch, it being Shrove Tuesday. John and Rob's latest game is a good one should you want to try it out. But be warned, it's not easy to work out the puzzles.

I took some pancake shots but they didn't do much for me. After lunch we went for a walk on Wimbledon common and I took more bird shots. There was a Shoveler duck on the pond shoveling around but he wouldn't come near enough for a close up while this young lady was very happy for me to capture her best side. Mallards are so co-operative.

I liked the windmill too and that was tempting because I haven't blipped one yet. But the lady duck was lovely so here she is.
