Bend me, shake me, anyway you
After a hysterectomy I decided that T'ai Bo Yoga would be just right for me to ease myself
Back into moving again.
We stood in rows beside our mats and rolls imaginary balls of sparking light between our hands.
Sometimes we stood on one leg, arms outstretched and pretended to be storks. We bowed to the sun and pretended to be angry cats and happy cats and downward facing dogs!
In the last twenty minutes. We would lay on our mat and be walked thru a marble villa, cold stone floor, and white marble stair cases.
There was a white marble pool too and occasionally we would float across it very gently waving our arms over the surface of the water.
Then, whilst we were in the depths of our dream of this beautiful house, the mad bint who took us would clap her hands and squeal, wake up, going home time!
After three weeks I started to feel worse during and after yoga and then I would keel with a migraine when I got home - the anticipation of being rudely awakened was sending my stress levels soaring!
Now a days I prefer just to snooze!
