The black telephone box hunt continued.

First you had - junction of Princes Street and Lothbury

Then you had - outside Moorgate

And then after a tip off from a friend - this one by St Pauls

And now you have another two on Holborn Viaduct

I've obviously been working too hard recently because I had forgotten that I had photographed these before but in the days before I was addicted to Blip

The weather was lovely at lunch time so I walked up to the City Road Basin.

It is a canal basin and part of the Regent's Canal. Most of my work colleagues don't even know that it is there. It opened in 1820, and as it was more convenient than Paddington, was soon acting as a distribution centre for goods into London. As you can see from the photos it is slowly being converted into a residential area. The basin is used for canoeing by the Islington Boat Club and of course the birds
