Bedtime Reading

The Conference today was really good but a long day, left the house at 8 and got home at 6. I'm not used to sitting still for that long.
I treated myself to a book, Autism from
Within, it is about learning from
People with Autism and understanding the world through them.
I'll let you know how I get on with it.

My favourite presentation of the day was a lady from Blackpool called Jackie Jackson who now has 8 children her eldest is 28 and the youngest is 3. Five of those children are on the Spectrum and it is highly likely that the youngest will also be diagnosed.
Not only has she managed to bring her children up with all the different highs and lows that brings but she has managed to study and has a PHD in Sensory issues and is an accomplished author of 4 books the last one still to be published. She brought along with her Ben one of her boys who enjoyed talking to us and I found her amazing to listen to I will be looking out for her in the future.

Circuit training tonight was hard work but we also had a laugh.

Out in the morning on a governor training course about school finance.

I'm off to start my book now.
