Maneki Neko
Today's blip comes courtesy of a contortionist's special. These are two of the tattoos on my left arm. Given that they are a self portrait, I am rather pleased with how they came out.
The little beckoning cat (Maneki Neko) is a well-known Japanese legend. There are many folk tales, but the gist of them all is that the person who greets the beckoning cat is saved from some misfortune.
The cat is often represented as a calico, like my little cartoon good luck symbol.
The Arabic above the cat is my name.
