Morning Light

It has been a lovely sunny, but cold, day today.

I took the dog out around eight o'clock and noticed the sun was coming up and casting a warm light on the snow covering Ben Lomond. I had a chat with my neighbour who was sitting outside having her morning cuppa. We were both admiring the beauty of the mountain.

When I came into the house I abandoned the pancake making and took my camera outside. I took many shots of the Ben then went out to the roadside to see the view from there. As I went onto the pavement this walker passed by. As I watched him head into the village I noticed the warmth of the early light and his 'dragon breath'.

Funny how often the unexpected becomes your blip for the day.
