Edwin the Bass Player

We stopped into Mojitos Rum Bar & Grill for dinner tonight and were treated to some great music by the Asheson latin band. I was just goofing and taking grab shots from my seat at the table when fortune smiled upon me and I was able to capture this one moment where Edwin, the band's bass player, looked up and smiled holding the pose long enough that my 1/10 sec shutter speed was able to freeze the action.

This is a great example of maximizing the ability of your Canon DSLRs creative controls: the black & white was captured using the Monochrome Picture Style on the Canon EOS 7D and was shot at ISO 6400 with no post processing to minimize noise... Except for some tonal optimization, this is an unedited JPEG captured straight out of the camera.
