A Safe Haven with a Menacing Appeal. Hosier Lane

It's an odd thing about Melbourne, but you would never think to walk down a lane that was untouched by graffiti - it just wouldn't seem safe. Areas like the one pictured (bits of scene for a change) are a haven for tourists and locals alike, and usually house hidden bars and restaurants that can't easily be seen. Just before I took this, there was a group doing wedding photos. I took the photo simpley because I like the triangles in the stairwell. The light seemed quite strange today - alternately, I've hit something on the camera again and don't know what I've done....could be either.
