Pollok in the Rain

I had hoped for a walk in the gardens at Pollok Park this afternoon, but the weather turned. Very wet and windy, so I quickly grabbed a few shots beside the House and retreated to the car. This is the view across the front lawn to the bridge. Colder weather forecast for the weekend, perhaps even snow.

A much quieter day, I really had to recover from the last two!

A special conversation on skype this evening with my friends in Pittsburgh USA. They are planning to visit Scotland this summer - really looking forward to seeing them again.
