Feather detail

Detail of a buzzard's wing feather. Unfortunately, this buzzard will fly no more. I found him in a rather mangled state on the side of the A5, probably a victim of flying too low and coming into contact with an irresistable force (A big lorry).

For the technically minded, taken with Tamron 90mm macro, two Nikon SB-800 flashes either side (3 and 9 'o' clock), 5 image stack to achieve focus across the feather.
