more playgrounds by nature

After a day inside yesterday we were out early and off on a walk around Rydal Lake, and it was lovely.

The kids explored and climbed, hid and rolled, covered themselves in mud and grass, got wet feet and good appetites, just the sort of adventures I love sharing with them.

It helps as well that the Lake District backdrop makes it all breathtakingly beautiful to do it in!
