...Nope, can't see Amelie anywhere!

We were quite happy pottering around this morning when I heard some kind of strange tannoy announcement coming from a car on the street outside, telling me they were going to switch the water off for 2-3 hours! Sitting in my pjs with birds nest hair I decided I'd better try and beat them so ran a bath, filled my kettle and my water jug and got myself clean before realising that in fact the water was not off at all?! I can only presume that our flats aren't included on the streets water supply. And indeed the last time they decided to deprive me of my water supply, they knocked on my door (and my neighbours door, so we both answered simultaneously to find each other in our respective nightwear) to let me know. Oh well, at least I was prepared!

Amelie gifted me with a 2 hour nap today, I didn't know what to do with myself. She woke up, still sleepy, and not really in the mood to be heading out but I felt we needed fresh air.

We got in and made lasagne for dinner (well, I made lasagne and Amelie sat on the kitchen worktop whisking an empty tin and stealing cheese) and then she spent a good half hour 'writing a list' before Daddy came in and took her with him to get milk (Mummy forgot!). She refused to go in the buggy so my guess is she is going to be pretty tired come bedtime.
