Handley Page Victor

This is a cast model of the Handley Page Victor "V" Bomber that I worked on in the RAF.
Our planes were used for Photographic Reconnaisance and were loaded with radar cameras. These could take photos from 50,000 feet and the pictures were pin sharp.
Our aircraft were responsible for photographing the whole of b Britain in the 1960s in order to give us the maps we use today. It took 2 runs up and back to cover the UK.
