A gloomy crossing

We left Sedgefield at 6:45am and we reached Dover by 12:30 which meant we had a while before our ferry which was booked for 2pm from Dover-Dunkirk but we got let on the 1pm ferry which meant we got to France a little earlier than predicted.

The drive down was fine and it didn't feel excessively long but the ferry journey felt like it took forever! There wasn't much to do on the ferry at all so I just sat and read my Kindle and listened to my iPod (to block out hyper children running around like crazy...)
