Nae wee seal

Was cycling in this morning and just got to the river near Carronshore. Like most people if you travel a route you get to know the wee bits and bobs along the way, like the logs that appear backwards and forwards with the tides.

Oh look there's a new one, wait a minute it bloody moved. Not only was it moving it was looking at me. About 15 m from me (and about 25m from someones back door) was a seal. As I fumbled for the camera it had had enough arched it's back and dived below the water and disappeared. I'm guessing it was coming in with the tide chasing salmon as it get's quite shallow there when the tides out, but what a cracking start to the day... a seal... in Carronshore...

It wasn't there as I went home...
