Classy Ladies

Thanks to everyone who left comments on my Amsterdam photos. Particular thanks goes to Kaybee for his daily enquiries after our pink cowgirl hats!

We had originally planned to wear pink cowgirl hats around Amsterdam on my 30th birthday. Emma had a better idea and surprised us with pink wigs, so we happily ditched the hats and wore Hawaiian leis through the daytime, and pink wigs on the night time. Oh, and a birthday cake hat for opening my cards, presents and champagne. What a classy lot we looked!

As the birthday girl I got the bright pink wig, the others wore a baby pink wig. We also took glasses, table decorations etc with us (just in case anyone risked mistaking us for normal holiday makers!)

We certainly had a laugh and some funny conversations with men of various nationalities. We had a great time in Amsterdam.


This is the first time this year I haven't had something planned for the coming months. I had Tenerife in February, the Lakes at Easter, Vegas in May, Amsterdam in August... - I really need to plan something else now!
