Colourful Cottages at Courtmacsherry
We had a very early start this morning to take earthdreamer to the airport. What a wonderful long weekend it was, we certainly packed a lot in but it was a relaxed time too. Very special indeed to meet a ' blipfriend ' for real and he is every bit as lovely as he comes across in his journal and comments. I think he might be back with his bike!
Rachel and I ventured into Cork, the only place open at 6.15am was Tescos, so it was a rather long shop! Finally a welcome cup of coffee at 8.30am!
Rachel is of to Brighton next week to visit a friend doing a dance course, so she was keen to buy some new clothes for the occasion ( there had to be a good motive to get her up at 4.00am!!!!!! ) It was a very successful shop for her.
Then it was off to meet Rosie in Garrets Town, she and her housemates have to move out as the landlord wants to renovate the house ready for the summer seasons lettings. So she will stay with friends and look for another place, so the car was well laden with her kyak , bike and art bit and pieces!
We took the coast road home and passed a favourite village of mine Courtmacsherry, with it's harbour and colourfully painted cottages.
Early night tonight!
